Phase One Unveils New Backs

Phase one releases three new IQ backs, the Phase One IQ180, IQ160 and IQ140 with maximum resolutions of 80, 60.5 and 40MP respectively. All three backs feature 3.2" multi-touch rear screen the company describes as having 1.15 megapixel resolution See Dpreview

Adobe has just released Lightroom 3.2 and Camera Raw 6.2. These are available for download

from Adobe.

New Canon Camera and Lenses

Canon has announced four new EF lenses, including an L-series 8-15mm fisheye, plus two new teleconverters. The six are the EF 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye, EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS, EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II, EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II, Extender EF 1.4x III and Extender EF 2x III. See RG

Canon has also unveiled the EOS 60D. The successor to the EOS 50D fits in between the EOS 550D and EOS 7D in Canon's lineup and gets many of its still and video features from these models. See RG

New Sony Alpha Cameras

Sony unveils new SLR cameras expanding its Dslr range Two of which incorporate the company's translucent mirror design. The Single Lens Translucent (SLT) cameras offer live view with full-time fast phase-detection AF whether in stills or movie shooting.
