First time I have seen these (at Richmond) in my life. 30D and 420mm cropped about 20%. Just after this image, I was witness to a Peregrine almost catching a magpie not more than 15m away. In fact, this tree saved the maggie as it quickly turned up and perched and the falcon with his pride damaged flew on. It happened way to fast to even raise my camera.

What a stunning little bird, well done mate. Branch isn't a big deal, I know you'll clone it out in time though Smiley

These are so small, about twice the size of a sparrow!!!! Incredibly little for a dove. Smiley

Very nice capture Akos. I like her eye.
Live the digital chainsaw alone. The tree is ok as it is.  Cheesy

Very nice Akos, I remember years ago these were fairly common around the Castlereagh area. Yes, I'm an ex-Penrith area boy lol.

Nice, they wouldn't be that common near Sydney, saw a few up in Sturt NP.  I'd suggest 1/2 a stop less flash I think.

I'm an ex-Penrith boy too. However I was more interested  in my own bird breeding program (budgies, peach faces and zebra finches).

Nice find Akos. Always exciting to make a new find.

Nice work Akos
The perspective is less than ideal as you know im sure.
And for my taste I find the oof sky showing throught the bg distracting.

Agreed. Smiley I have some on a fence post, but they were so skittish, I couldn't drive up or walk close. Sad Might just crop them a bit and present anyway.
