I noted that one was hopping in my direction from behind some bushes (I was on a path that I think the roos trempled over time) and I kneeled on the ground. As he (she) came up from the creek bed and hopped towards me, with my heart in my throat, I pressed the shutter and fired off the frames one after the other. Lucky as the shutter probably made it stop noting it was not a normal sound and it froze looking at me. Then I stood and it went in the other direction. Phew. Close call.

Love roos.

Cropped to vertical from full frame.
